Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how iHabits ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our iOS application.

Information We Collect

iHabits stores your habit data (names, completion history, streaks, notes, and settings) locally on your device using SwiftData. If you enable iCloud Sync in Settings, this data is synced via your personal iCloud account.

We do not collect, store, or have access to your personal habit data on our servers.

Analytics

iHabits uses Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as screen views and feature interactions. This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you personally. Analytics collection is disabled in development builds.

Purchases

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store and managed via RevenueCat. We do not store your payment information. RevenueCat may collect anonymized purchase data as described in their Privacy Policy.

iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud Sync, your habit data is synced through Apple's CloudKit infrastructure and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

Notifications

If you enable habit reminders, iHabits schedules local notifications on your device. No notification data is sent to our servers.

Third-Party Services

Data Retention

Your habit data is stored on your device and/or iCloud account. Deleting the app removes local data. You can manage iCloud data through iOS Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud.

Children's Privacy

iHabits does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app is rated 4+ and collects no personally identifiable information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
